My areas of expertise are in tutoring science and mathematics.
Chemistry
As my undergraduate and graduate degrees were in chemistry, I am comfortable tutoring this course at any level. However there may be particular topics which are outside of my expertise and which I would therefore have to decline.
The courses which I most often tutor in this area are:
- Grade 11 Chemistry (British Columbia)
- Grade 12 Chemistry (British Columbia)
- Introductory University Chemistry (CHEM 100-199)
- Organic Chemistry
Depending on the course level, I may also tutor the following subjects:
- Analytical Chemistry
- Thermodynamics
- Electrochemistry
- Spectroscopy & Instrumental Analysis
- Coordination Chemistry
- Materials Chemistry
- Polymer Chemistry
Physics
My background in physics includes core physics courses into 2nd year.
- Grade 11 Physics (British Columbia)
- Grade 12 Physics (British Columbia)
- Introductory University Physics (PHYS 100-199)
- Intermediate Electricity and Magnetism
Biology
My background includes a substantial amount of biology (courses up to 3rd year university), although it is not my primary focus. Typically I will tutor biology when I am already tutoring a student in another subject.
- Grade 11 Biology (British Columbia)
- Grade 12 Biology (British Columbia)
- Biochemistry
